Massage Now Learning Institute’s educational program targets people that  do not have the required hours to qualify for licensing exams to practice massage therapy in Oregon.

Credit Courses:

Kinesiology: The study and palpation of muscles of the body including the origin, insertion, and action of more the 100 muscles. Each module is separated by muscle groups. 10 Hour Modules.

Pathology: The study of the contraindications for massage therapy based on study of the disease process and the organ systems of the body. Each module is separated by the body system. 10 Hour Modules.

Hydrotherapy: The study of the effects of water on the human body including sanitation and universal precautions. 10 Hour Modules.

Ethics: The study of professional boundaries, ethical infractions, and the ethical responsibilities a licensed massage therapist faces when working with the public. 10 Hour Modules.

Clinical Practice: Supervised massage therapy on the public including a review of the seven Swedish massage strokes and client communication. 10 Hour Modules.

Swedish Techniques: Hands-on in classroom training that includes draping, Swedish massage strokes, client communication, and client consent. 10 hour Modules

Business: Based on AMTA's book, "The Business of Massage" these modules will increase your understand on the business application of massage therapy. 10 hour Modules

Non Credit Classes:

  • Tutoring available @ $25 per hour with a MNLI instructor

  • Schedule an evaluation of your skill level in massage therapy to better prepare you for the practical exam. Charge is $25
